CALLING ALL
JUNIOR PHOTOGRAPHERS!
Spend a week in Downtown Grapevine at a hands-on interactive camp where you'll learn about color theory, light, perspective, camera mechanics, and more... all while creating amazing images of the things YOU enjoy!
Each day of the four-day camp will focus on a different photography genre and the special skills needed for each.
Your final artwork will be on display at a fancy summer GALLERY NIGHT on July 25 where friends and family can OOOOHHHH and AAAAAHHHHH at your talent!

2025
session 1
June 9-12 mornings
session 2
July 7-10 mornings
session 3
July 14-17 mornings
AGE RANGE
👦 The photography lessons are super fun and perfect for kids age 8-14. Challenges are open-ended, allowing me to help each child succeed regardless of experience, age, or camera type. If your child is outside of this agerange, please email me to see if/how we can accommodate in a way that makes them comfortable and successful.
CAMERAS
📸 Campers will provide their own camera + memory card and bring them home each day. Any camera will work! Cell phone cameras are perfectly acceptable, but I will have the students keep their device in airplane mode during class hours.
DATES & CAPACITY
🗓️ Each session is limited to 8 campers. New dates will not be added until all three sessions fill up.
ETHICS & MORE
🌎 We will abide by the Golden Rule this summer! In addition to copyright and consent conversations, campers will learn to respect and encourage one another as they grow in their art form. There will be time for each person to give and receive feedback and affirmation each day. Gallery Night is strictly celebratory, but for those who would like to enter competition, Laura will provide information about the 2025 State Fair of Texas contests.

GALLERY NIGHT
✨ Part of my mission is helping people in 2024 appreciate PRINTED photography! Campers will learn how to create AND display photographic artwork. On Friday, July 25 students, families, and the public will gather to the studio-turned-gallery and appreciate the art and artists. Dress up, take pictures, and celebrate your famous photographer!
